You can spend hours searching the Web for updates, and just when you think you finally have them all, a handful of new versions are released. As PC computing and the Internet grow, it will become exceedingly more difficult to find what you need without wasting valuable time and money. With the right tool, software updating doesn't have to be an endless game of catch-up.
Catch-UP is a Web-based software updating service that automatically searches for the newest versions of many popular Internet-distributed software applications and hardware drivers. The Catch-UP Scanner helper application runs with your browser to generate a custom list of software updates and corresponding download sites.

INSTALLATION
To install the Catch-UP Scanner, download the self-extracting executable file appropriate for your operating system. Double-click on the file to initiate the installation process. The installer will guide you through the rest of the setup.
NOTE to Windows 3.1 Users: Before installing or running the Catch-UP Scanner, you must install the Win32s runtime libraries.
Please read the License Agreement before running the Catch-UP software and using the service.
CONFIGURATION PROCEDURE
The Catch-UP installer will automatically configure the Catch-UP Scanner as a helper application with most major browsers. If your browser is not supported or you choose to skip this step, you will have to configure Catch-UP manually. Detailed configuration instructions are provided on Manageable Software Services' website.

RUNNING CATCH-UP
To initiate the Catch-UP process, click the "Catch-UP Now!" link located on Manageable Software Services' website. If the Catch-UP Scanner is configured correctly, it will automatically execute once the configuration file has finished downloading. Running the Catch-UP Scanner will generate an update form (catch-up.htm) which can be submitted to the Catch-UP Server for an update search by clicking the "Find Updates" button.
